My 2021 calendar is finally finished and ready to share! I decided to do something a little different this year, which is a risky and scary thing to do when my printable calendars have followed a certain style all these years and so many request them year after year. Holding my breath this isn’t a major disappointment. I love how it has turned out and look forward to the monthly meditations!
I decided this year to do a quote each month from Amy Carmichael.
For those unfamiliar with Amy Carmichael she was a missionary in India in the early 1900’s, and you will be in for the biggest treat if you will spend some of this next year reading about her.
Elisabeth Elliot wrote an extensive book on her life entitled A Chance to Die.
Christian Heroes Then and Now series by the Benge’s has a shorter biography on her life.
And there is a sermon series devoted to missionary biographies by Pastor Stephen Davey available through Wisdom International (app or Website) that is excellent.
Amy Carmichael authored a number of books herself. (A couple of years I have enjoyed using her daily devotional Edges of His Ways. I am using it again this year and it has been such a blessing. I highly recommend it if you need a daily devo for 2021!)
One of them being a little booklet entited “If” which examines pride, selfishness, or cowardice in light of the love of Christ on Calvary.
These are brief meditations, each starts with “If ..” followed by a very human response and concludes with “then I know nothing of Calvary love.” The booklet is worth owning and reading her introduction and the many “If’s” I could not fit on this calendar.
These are challenging thoughts, not intended to discourage, but rather to turn our thoughts and affections to knowing Christ more. I pray 2021 is a year of each of us knowing more of Calvary love.
The printable 2021 calendar features one “If” per month. You are welcome to print however many you would like and use as gifts or for yourself. I just ask that you not sell the files or hard copy.
The pdf of the printable 2021 calendar can be seen and downloaded and printed here. It includes a front page and an introduction page (which is mostly just the above text) so prior to printing determine if you will need those extra pages or not!
If you do not have a color printer it is really simple to send files to your local office supply store for them to print. Most have an online portal that you simply load the files and specify the paper weight and color (I generally opt for the firmer 110lb cardstock and always white paper).
And for those that prefer a button- here you go! Enjoy!
